When I was asked to write about myself, I wasn't sure where to begin. If I wrote this just a year ago, it would go something like this:
Hello! My name is Eddie and I am the Medical Records Coordinator here at Finney Injury Law. I handle ordering, maintaining, and evaluating the medical records for the firm. It sounds like a lot but I truly enjoy the work.
Outside of work, I am an avid gamer. From pulling all-nighters on the Xbox, to having the boys over to play Magic, to being a dungeon master, I do it all. Gaming is a big part of my personality, and it stems from my competitive nature and critical thinking skills.
I recently just moved into a new house with my wife Margaret after having spent a few months bunking with my parents. I think that was the best summer of Margaret's life. We hoped to share this new house with our very first baby, but after numerous doctor visits and complications, we weren't sure that dream was destined to come true.
But that's the funny thing about life: for better or worse, it can change in a moment's notice.
Writing about myself today, I would start with how happy I am to have a 3-month-old daughter at home. She is the joy of my world.
Everything that used to define me, Xbox, Magic, and D&D, has all taken a backburner to parenthood. And I couldn't be happier. Nothing makes me happier than coming home to Margaret and Liliana.
